What better way to enjoy a beach holiday than spending one right by the ocean. Of the many beach resorts in Goa, we had our eyes on the Baga Hideout. We checked in on our first day and enjoyed a pleasant evening at the famous Baga Beach. Catching the sunset was a delight and we also explored some of the beach shacks for some snacks and drinks. I feel like a romantic trip to Goa becomes all the more exciting when the beach is only a few steps away. With the ocean comes the fun!

So, think about this – you wanted to explore Goa on your own and explore any random beach or street. Well, you don’t have to worry! You will find people at every second corner of the street offering a bike or scooter on rent at very economical prices. So that’s what we did on our second day in Goa. We hired a two-wheeler and drove down to Aguada and Chapora forts. We had a great time here and got some great pictures together for our romantic trip to Goa. The evening was spent hopping from Baga beach to Calangute and Candolim beach. Trust me, the experience of roaming around the city at your own leisure is extremely relaxing.

I’d be lying to you if I didn’t mention that of all the things to do in Goa, the crazy water sports were what my wife and I were looking forward to the most! This time we chose thrilling water activities over the challenging peaks of the north. We started out on our journey to the Grand Island which was a good three-hour ride but so worth it. It is a refreshing island away from the crowded beaches in the city.

Our day at the island during our 4 days honeymoon in Goa started with an amazing underwater experience with scuba diving. I really can’t put into words how beautiful it is to venture into the sea life, you will have to enjoy it yourself to know. Up next, we went for parasailing which was just as fun. Witnessing the sky meet the ocean is a sight to behold. Once we were done, we also went on to explore the banana ride and jet ski. Later, exhausted, we head back as the sun set upon us offering some breathtaking views.
