Made on sea-reclaimed land, it stands opposite to the very famous Marina Bay Sands. Gardens by the Bay is easily accessible, either by the pedestrian walkways if you live in a hotel close by or by a longer walk along the river to enter the park, near the two domes. Even if you live a little further away, the metro system can drop you to Bayfront or Marina Bay MRT station. You only have to walk a little from each station. A walk in the park will not cost you a dime, but there is a fee involved if you want to walk in temperature-controlled greenhouses or among the upper, steel-made trees.
