- Day 3: Magical Spa at Uppala Villa

While searching for the perfect honeymoon destination, my wife and I wound up on the web page of TravelTriangle. We liked the luxury of having a customizable itinerary for the places we’d go to.
I put in a query on the TravelTriangle website and got a reply for the same. I was guided through the booking process as I explained my expectations from the trip. I was connected to various agents who provided multiple offers for Bali honeymoon packages. I selected the best deal given to me by ‘Travel Toogle’ Agency.
Out of all the packages of possible nearby honeymoon destinations on offer, Bali had the best reviews and experiences. And just like that, our Bali honeymoon package was ready to go without a minimum of fuss.
Day 1: Landing in Bali
We boarded our flight from New Delhi at 6 am and arrived in Bali at 11 am enroute Kuala Lumpur. The driver was present to receive us at Denpasar, Bali Airport. We checked into the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Kuta.
The hotel staff were very warm, considerate, and courteous. I was surprised to see our room so beautifully decorated with flowers as we arrived. Post lunch, we decided to explore the Kuta Beach. Barely a five-minutes walk, we arrived at the picturesque beach. We spent our evening there not doing much, since we had planned sightseeing in Bali the next day.
Day 2: The A to Z of Bali Sightseeing
The next morning after breakfast, the taxi driver took us to Ubud at 8 am for a whole day of sightseeing. We started off with a visit to a silver jewelry workshop and a local art gallery in Ubud. Our driver was very knowledgeable about shopping in Bali and took us to shops which gave us the best prices.
Around 11 am, we traveled to the coffee plantations of Bali to taste the world famous Kapiluak coffee. Next up, we saw the Kintamani volcano and spent a good hour clicking pictures of each other.
Post lunch, on our way back to Ubud, we stopped and admired the Tegalalang Rice Fields. We were back in Kuta, and it was time to meet our mischievous ancestors in the monkey forest. Surprisingly, they were the most chilled out monkeys we had ever seen. I certainly had made few furry friends on my honeymoon trip to Bali.
And finally, we drove to the Tanha Lot Temple at 3.30pm. The temple was marvelous, although, it was a cloudy evening as we missed the sunset. We departed back to the hotel at 6 pm and then rested for the night.
Day 3: Magical Spa at Uppala Villa
The next morning we checked out of Kuta and transferred to our villa in Seminyak. After a hectic day of sightseeing in Bali, a few days of luxury and relaxation was just what I needed.
We arrived at the Uppala Villa in Seminyak at noon. Later, we proceeded for the spa sessions we got along with the villa. An hour worth of body healing took us into the zone of zen and peace.
Afterwards, we decided to relax and enjoy the amenities of our beautiful villa in Seminyak. I just spent a fantastic day with my wife taking care of mind, body, and soul.

Day 4: Cruising to Lembogan Island
The next morning, we left our villa at 9 am for our Lembogan Island cruise. Although, it started to rain as we were about to begin our ride on cruise boat, the captain went ahead nonetheless with no worries. We arrived on Lembogan Island after 30 mins and immediately we transferred to a glass bottom boat.
One of the incredible things to do in Bali is snorkeling in the pristine clear waters. We were taken out to the ocean and we dipped in the water to view the untouched seaworld around Lembogan Island. We were lucky enough to see lovely corals and unique fishes in our time under water.
After snorkeling, we went back to the Lembogan Beach where lunch was served to us. A honeymoon trip to Bali with such levels of luxury was amazing. We left the island by 4 pm and arrived back at the villa by 6. We ended a beautiful day in Bali with a nice Indian dinner in the restaurant in our villa complex.
Day 5: Farewell Paradise
The next morning we checked out of the villa at 8 am and proceeded to the airport for our 11 am flight. Thanked the driver personally for the help and understanding he showed for us that made this honeymoon in Bali memorable. As my wife and I bid farewell to our very own paradise, we wished that we’d get lucky to come and visit this place again in our lives together.
- The snorkeling experience was truly unforgettable.
- The driver with us was a blessing for us.
