My wife and I were very keen and excited about our honeymoon. We are very clear about the things that we wanted in the location. We traveled for our honeymoon in April and Mauritius weather in April is absolutely pleasant which makes it perfect for all the honeymooners. The weather kept changing frequently and was sometimes sunny, cloudy and rainy. During our vacation, there was an impact of a cyclone due to which we witnessed heavy rains and cloudy days which made our trip only more romantic. The whole place had a very different vibe and was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. My wife and I couldn’t be more excited about how the weather turned out to be during our one week in Mauritius. The best time to visit Mauritius is definitely in April as the temperature during our visit was between 18 to 24 degrees.

We loved everything that we did on our honeymoon. These 7 days in Mauritius consisted of several magical moments, beautiful places and memories that are going to stay with us forever. Going and visiting Port Louis was a great experience. We really enjoyed our days trip to this place as it has a lot to see and experience. Here we did a little bit of shopping too.

2. Belle Mare: Experiencing Adventure Thrills

One of the best moments of our honeymoon in Mauritius was when we went to Belle Mare where we tried our hands at multiple water activities like parasailing, banana tube ride, undersea walk, and more.

3. Ile aux Cerfs: Exploring The Beautiful Beach

Once we reached IIe aux Cerfs, we were completely mesmerized by the beauty of this place. We could not believe that something could be so beautiful. Both me and my wife, explore the turquoise water and the pristine beach while clicking numerous pictures.

4. Grand Bassin: More Sightseeing

One of the main highlights of our honeymoon was taking this catamaran cruise to Crystal Rock. There were a lot of points we were left in awe. If you are interested in dolphin watching them taking Catamaran cruise is the best idea.

Honestly, our shopping experience in Mauritius was okay and not that great. There are many handicraft items made of sea elements and are good to buy. One of the most famous things to buy from this place is handmade ships with intricate work but only if you are interested in buying home decorations.

During our one week in Mauritius, we stayed in Maritim Crystals Beach Hotel which was a great experience. We were more than excited to stay in one of the best properties in the areas. Everything here was absolutely spot on including stay, rooms, hospitality and everything else. We were taken care of by the staff and enjoyed every day staying here.

Food In Mauritius

Though there are many options in Mauritius for tourists when it comes to restaurants but during our 7 days in Mauritius, we enjoyed our meals at Mystic Masala. This was an Indian place that served both south Indian as well as north Indian cuisine. We savored the delicious food and ate a lot. The best part is that it is not even that costly and is completely budget-friendly.
