Shopping, fun, adventure, and girl power – these are the words I would use to describe my all women family trip to Dubai. Extremely refreshing and beautiful, this trip gave us a lifetime of memories, that are now forever etched in our hearts.

It all started when we wanted to visit Dubai Shopping Festival but could not do so due to some reasons. Naturally, our inclination towards visiting this country had only increased and by the time we began planning this trip, there was nothing that could stop us.

Since this was an all women’s trip, we wanted everything to be perfectly organized and hassle free thus I began searching for a suitable family package to Dubai that would not only have everything that we would want but also include maximum number of experiences in the limited number of days that we had.

After going through a lot of websites like Make My Trip, Yatra, and many more, I finally settled on TravelTriangle since they offered us a customizable package. TravelTriangle’s representative, after understanding our needs, further connected us to their various travel agents on board and it was here that I got in touch with Bhavesh, a girl from “Birdcube Travel Pvt Ltd” who not only gave us the best quotes and itineraries, but also followed up thoroughly and managed our trip very well.

We took our flight (Emirates) from Delhi and reached Dubai in the night. At around 10 pm, we checked into our hotel and later went out to take a stroll near our hotel and check out the nightlife of the area. It was a peaceful walk and although, our hotel was in an area which was surrounded by a lot of Indian places and market, the feeling of holidaying at a foreign location had slowy begun to seep in.

10 Romantic Things To Do In Dubai At Night For Couples On A Holiday In 2022!

Today we visited Abu Dhabi and it was one of our finest experiences ever. The elevated highway from Dubai to Abu Dhabi was a delight to take a ride on and was surrounded by the sea on one side. The best part of this drive was that the sea kept changing colors throughout our drive making it a unique experience for all of us ladies.

Our sightseeing in Abu Dhabi included an overview of the gorgeous Ferrari World and Yas Island. It was followed by a visit to the Grand Mosque which in simple words was breathtaking. No doubt, it is included in one of the most beautiful monuments in the world.

Tip: As per the rules, women must keep their head covered and can use a head scarf for the same.

Next up was a Heritage Village tour which was once again gave us a glimpse into the lifestyle and craft of the Arabs. There were many performances and the place was also filled with numerous food stalls offering different cuisines. Next, we visited a gallery where practically everything was made of gold even the toilet and it was truly a wondrous experience.

Other places in our Abu Dhabi tour included the famous Emirates Palace, a super luxury hotel, ultra high rise building, and yachts. Basically everything luxury!

Overall, Abu Dhabi was one place we would have regretted had we not visited it which in other words means, we had a great tour.

Day 3: Dubai Desert Safari adventure

We ladies were having the time of lives in Dubai and this day just proved that.

In the morning, after breakfast, we went on to visit the gold souk (market) and all that glitters that we saw were really in gold. The markets was lined with shops selling gold made jewelry dresses and what not and the best part was that there wasn’t even a single guard there to prevent any theft (Dubai has a very strict policy against theft).

Desert Safari In Dubai: Top 10 Experiences And Attractions

Next up was the Dubai Desert Safari and out of all the places and things that we did in Dubai, this was the best.

First activity of the safari was Dune Bashing and it involved offroading in a 4×4 Land Cruiser over really huge sand dunes. Certainly not for the faint hearted, this is nonetheless an extremely exciting adventure that everyone should witness on their trip to Dubai.

We also saw the sunset in the desert and later could also click pictures with the national animal of UAE, the falcon.

Post this, we proceeded to the desert camp where a night of merriment awaited us. The camp had many entertainment and fun things to do and watch including henna painting, Tanura Show, Belly Dancing, and the barbeque buffet dinner. One could also wear traditional arabic dresses and get themselves clicked. Too much fun!

We later returned to our hotel and called it a night.

Day 4: Dubai City Tour

Today we did a half day Dubai city tour and saw various interesting places including Atlantis, Burj al Arab (one of the most expensive hotels in the world). We also saw the Mall of Emirates which was connected to the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa. At the Mall of Emirates, we visited a beautiful aquarium and then proceeded on to the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa.

As expected, the view from the top was magnificent and the city light simply looked amazing. One could also go to the 125th floor which housed a glass lobby and soak in the panoramic views in an even better manner.

After this, we watched the musical fountain show scheduled on the grounds of Burj Khalifa which once again turned out to be excellent.

Later we returned to our hotel for the night.

Day 5: Discovering the many charms of Dubai

Top 20 Romantic Hotels In Dubai For Couples: An Epitome Of Love And Luxury!

Our last day was free for us and we could do whatever we wanted, so after breakfast, we decided to visit the famous Meena Bazaar and indulge in some shopping. This market was a paradise for us since there were a lot of things that we could buy ranging from clothes to jewelry, to food items, spices, electronics, and much more. One can also do bargaining here for best deals and overall, we loved it.

dubai marina cruise

At around 7 pm, we proceeded for our Marina Cruise on the Dubai Creek. Although we also had an option to do the Dhow Cruise, we chose Marina Sightseeing Cruise since it showed the nicer and newer part of the city and included the Jumeirah Beach, Luxury Hotels, and all the glamour of Dubai.

The food on the cruise was excellent and the service outstanding. The whole ride lasted till about 11 pm post which we returned to our hotel.

Day 6: Good bye Dubai

Today at around 11 am, we checked out of our hotel and proceeded to the airport for our flight back to Delhi.

Spending a vacation in Dubai with all the ladies of my family was an excellent experience for us. These women, my pillars of strength, had a great time indulging in fine experiences and pampering themselves in Dubai – and seeing them happy made me very happy. In the end, this was the primary goal of my trip and thanks to TravelTriangle, I am glad I could see it fulfilled.

Awesome Things To Do On A 6-Day Family Trip To Dubai

High Points:

  • Our overall Dubai experience was excellent but if I were to tell one activity that I enjoyed the most, then that would be Dubai Desert Safari.
  • Also the hospitality and manners that people of Dubai showed us throughout the trip is commendable. All the locals were extremely helpful and generous in their services and that is something worth experiencing.

Low Points:

  • We wish the Dubai City Tour should have been longer since we wanted to explore more but there wasn’t enough time.

Tips for travelers:

  • If you want a luxurious hotel stay, try staying at ones that are near the Mall of the Emirates.
  • Carry enough cash for you will be in for a lot of shopping and good deals.
  • Do try the Dubai Desert Safari, it is worth it.
  • Do not for heaven’s sake skip on Abu Dhabi in your itinerary for this city is worth witnessing.
