Our 5 Days 4 Nights Honeymoon Trip To Seychelles
Here’s an account of my romantic Seychelles trip.
DAY 1: A Warm Welcome into Seychelles, and into a ‘Room With A View’!
Our flight landed in Seychelles at 3 PM, post which we met the agent’s representative waiting right outside the airport with a name card in his hands and a warm smile on his face. He arranged for us a cab to drop us at our hotel – Eden Bleu – which was pretty near to the airport. Our driver was a very knowledgeable person, suggesting where all we could go for dining and what time which shop would close down in the market.
The hotel too was a luxurious one, with a large balcony offering views of the garden all the way upto the lofty mountains in the distance. We were then provided a welcome gift – a fruit platter with a bottle of Champaign!
How To Plan The Perfect Honeymoon Trip To Seychelles
After relaxing a bit we then started exploring the hotel and the surrounding areas. The locality was a bit isolated from the main city and very quiet and peaceful. At around 9 PM we returned to the hotel for some delicious dinner.
DAY 2: A Glass-Bottom Boat Tour And Selfies With Giant Tortoises
On the second day we started early and had our breakfast at 9 AM before proceeding for the Marine Reef safari. We reached the boarding point at 10 AM and got our boarding pass and ticket there itself. The boat took us farther and farther into the sea till we could no longer see the city, but only beautiful reefs and fish underneath us through its glass-bottom.
The crew enlightened us on different types of fish and corals down there, and then it was time to feed them! This was an amazing point in our tour. It was delightful to throw down pieces of bread and watch plenty of colourful fish jump about trying to catch the crumbs.
Then we headed to the Marine Park on Moyenne Island, a huge forest home to the Giant Tortoise of Seychelles. The experience of meeting, feeding, and clicking pictures with these majestic creatures was simply out of this world! We explored the rest of this beautiful island and its beaches on our own.
Things To Do On A 9 Day Seychelles Honeymoon Tour
After that we headed to a different island to have our barbeque lunch which had a delicious variety of chicken and seafood. Post that, we proceeded for snorkeling. We were a little anxious as we had never tried this before, but the operators took great care of us and we ended up having the most amazing experience of our lives.
Exhausted, we went to a popular Indian restaurant called Maharaja and had some yummy Biryani, before returning to our hotel to rest.

DAY 3: Cruise Transfer To Praslin, The Heaven Of Stunning Beaches
In a hurry to get to our next destination – Praslin – we missed breakfast. But the nice hotel staff quickly packed us up some breakfast hot and steaming. The driver dropped us to the port where our agent handed us our boarding passes. Cat Cocos is a big ship with fully air conditioned and spacious lounges. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 hour journey from mahe to Praslin and clicked lots of pictures.
Upon reaching Praslin, we were escorted to our cab and taken to our resort – Le Relax Beach Resort. Praslin has very dense greenery in comparison to Mahe and looked even more refreshing at that time when it was raining. We were welcomed at our new resort and taken to our room.

The resort isn’t as lavish as the one we stayed in at Mahe, but it definitely had a warm, homely feel to it. We freshened up and headed to the beautiful and un-crowded beach right next to the resort. We relaxed on the sand, clicked pictures, and practically stayed there till the evening.
We spent the other half our evening in the swimming pool before proceeding to have dinner. We found ourselves surrounded by an enormous Indian buffet at the sober-looking canteen, and everything on the menu was simply delicious.

DAY 4: Cycling And Swimming Away In La Digue!
Post breakfast, we proceeded to the most beautiful island of Seychelles – La Digue. We boarded our ferry from Praslin at 10 AM sharp, and in 15 minutes we were standing on the most beautiful place on Earth! An agent’s representative escorted us to the bicycle point from where we got two bicycles. Our agent also guided us on how to book a safari on our own.
The feeling of riding down on a smooth road with a beach on one side and a dense forest on the other can’t be put down in words. We simply relaxed on the island, cycling around, clicking pictures on the beaches, drinking fresh coconut water.
Later, we visited the L’union estate park in La Digue where we swam in the crystal clear water of the beach, a truly rejuvenating experience.
Then we returned to Praslin by the ferry at 5 PM and relaxed in our resort for the remaining day.
DAY 5: Grabbing Souvenirs For Loved Ones And Heading Home
We packed our bags with a heavy heart and had our last breakfast in Seychelles. Since we had some time to spare before our flight, we went over to the Black Pearl workshop near our resort to buy some souvenirs for our friends and family back home. Then we headed to the nearest beach for one long meeting with the sea and turf of this paradise.

After relaxing a little here we returned to our hotel and were escorted to the port for our Cat Cocos ferry to Mahe. We reached Mahe well in time for our flight, and left with beautiful memories of this place.
