Though I don’t like shopping much still we explored the markets to witness the shopping scenes in the capital city of Sikkim. The most visited market in Gangtok is the M.G road market where you can buy various things like semi-precious stones & silver jewelry, Sikkim tea, thangkas, Buddhist figurines & prayer flags, wall hangings, and Sikkimese cups. We bought the Dragon jewelry and precious gemstones.
3. Our Adventurous Trek
Who said that honeymoon is supposed to only be about strolling around the city while holding the hands of your partner? For us, it’s so much more. The sound of adventure always appealed to me and to my surprise even my husband loves to indulge in adventurous activities. So, we planned a vacation which should also have the adventure and fun element. Heading on a thrilling trek with your partner can turn out to be a great experience. The famous trek from Ravangla to Maenam hill will surely help you both to know each other better as on the way you can talk and enjoy the stunning views together! We were also provided a guide who helped us on our trek.

4. A Day Spent In The Cultural Capital Of India
On our last day after having a grand lunch, we started our journey to Siliguri. A picture-perfect city surrounded by Tea Gardens, Siliguri is one of the most popular places to visit in West Bengal. From the impeccable shopping streets to the eminent tourist attractions, Siliguri will be a great spot to visit on your honeymoon. The best part about this city was that it was not much crowded and we spent quality time. We also visited Darjeeling the Queen of Hills and loved the shopping places there. The restaurants served delicious local cuisines in Darjeeling and the locals were really friendly!
