2 Day Weekend Trip To Jim Corbett: A Blissful Experience
At first, when I told my friends about this group trip with fellow travelers, they weren’t so keen. We as friends, have always done our own thing and plan trips by ourselves. So it took a bit of convincing, and putting my reputation on the line for this weekend trip to Binsar. But I had an intuition that this trip to Binsar would prove to be an amazing experience.
Going on a group trip for the first time, meeting new people, and getting to explore a not so popular hill station sounded very appealing.

Day 0: Beginning with hesitancy
The trip began from Akshardham Metro Station at 9 pm. The start of the journey was a bit quiet as Ashish, the trip coordinator from TravelTriangle, tried to get everyone to speak up and introduce themselves but it didn’t work. On the other hand, all four of us girls were laughing, giggling, and chatting already in the bus. However, as the trip went on, we got to know the other travelers. So much so, that I ended up spending more time on the return journey with the new friends I made.
Day 1: Scenic nature trek in Binsar
Adventure Sports On A 1N/2D Weekend Trip To Rishikesh
After plenty of halts, we arrived at the resort at 11 am. The staff were welcoming and treated us very nicely. We had no complains during our stay at the Binsar Eco Camp as the hospitality, food, and the service was top class. We checked in, had breakfast, and then got ready for our day in the serene hills.
First up, our guide took us for a trek. It was a hike through the jungle to a beautiful riverside. The experience felt even better, as it was the first time I had been to a proper nature trek with a decent workout. We sat for a while near a small waterfall that was near the river face.
Amongst us, there was a guitarist who played some really nice tunes, as we sang along with him. Later on, we had our packed lunch by the riverside, which felt really delicious after the exertion done during the trek. In an hour, half of us (including me), chose to trek a little more, whereas the rest felt really tired and returned to the hotel. I guess, in my attempt to make the most of my trip to Binsar, I was pushing myself that bit more physically. As it grew darker, we finally arrived back at the hotel, viewing the sunset on our way back to the resort.
In a few hours, everyone gathered again for a bonfire dinner. The interaction between us and the other travelers was the best at this point because everyone had pretty much opened up and were in a relaxed mood around the campfire having food and drinks.
Best Things To Do On A 2 Day Weekend Trip To Kanatal
After dinner, the guide offered to take us for a night trek which was completely off the itinerary. Most of us promptly agreed and it was an adventurous walk in the night with a guide taking us safely through the jungle, to admire the beautiful silence, and then finally, return to the resort.
Day 2: A loyal companion showing us the way
The next day, we girls woke up early and went for a walk with our guide to catch an early morning glimpse of some major himalayan peaks. Despite sleeping really late, we were so keen to do as much as we can in these few days. It was an amazing experience as we were guided by his dog all along the way till the viewpoint. I was amazed by how concerned and helpful that canine was to us strangers. We ultimately, couldn’t see the mountain peaks due to the early morning haze, but the walk certainly gave us a refreshing start to the day.
Incredible Way To Spend A 2D 1N Weekend Trip To Dhanaulti
Later on, as we returned to the resort, we checked out of the resort and were taken to the riverside again for rock climbing and rappelling. I really enjoyed the adventure activities with which we ended our trip. After the rappelling, all of us boarded the bus back to New Delhi.
I went into this trip to Binsar with zero expectations. I spent a few days surrounded by picturesque hills and truly amazing people. My friends and I had no idea what to expect from such a group trip which we were trying for the first time. So, it felt nice to be pleasantly surprised by how good the weekend trip to Binsar turned out to be.
