Aditya and his wife traveled to Bali, the king of honeymoon destinations in Asia for a week-long vacation filled with luxury, tropical scenery, and unique architecture. Their Balinese honeymoon was bundled with incredible experiences that are a must-have for any couple dreaming about a romantic vacation
Often having lots of options can become a bigger problem than having none. When my wife and I started planning for our honeymoon, we had more than five destinations on our mind. At this point, we had to narrow down our options based on experiences of other honeymooners because all the destinations we selected had many great places to visit.

Here’s How We Planned A Perfect Romantic Vacation In Bali
On a week-long vacation, we had a lot of experiences that were exclusive to Bali. These experiences added on to the charm of the tropical island and endeared us to the idea of Bali being a perfect honeymoon destination.
1. Water sports at Nusa Dua
The moment we reached Nusa Dua beach, I almost thought that we ended up at the wrong place. Nusa Dua has a very private beach resort type feel to it and neither the crowds to make someone realize that they were going for a day of adventure sports.
However, all these things worked beautifully in our favor as we took part in amazing water sports like paragliding, jet skiing, and banana boat ride on a serene beach.
2. Spa session in Bali
After having been to Bali and talked to the locals, I realized that a spa session in Bali is not something you would only find couples taking on a Balinese honeymoon. Rejuvenating your mind and body through spa was pretty much a Bali thing to do.
We had a lovely spa session at Anika Spa, after which we felt energized and completely at ease.

3. Sunset at Tanah Lot
Not many experiences in Bali were more romantic than watching the sunset at Tanah Lot temple. As the sun went down in the foreground of the beautiful Tanah Lot, it made a silhouette of the beautiful temple of worship which was perched on top of a rock off the rocky coastline of Tabanan Regency.

4. The unique temples of Bali
Probably the most common and intriguing sightseeing activity in Bali, my wife and I missed no chance of visiting different kinds of temples on our Balinese honeymoon. As an island that practices Hinduism, we were blessed to have experienced a different way of worshipping the gods we’ve prayed to since we were born.

5. A stay in a stylish private villa
Another thing I liked about Bali was that it had tons of beautiful private villas at affordable prices. It was a memorable experience to stay at a house all by yourself that was fully wooden furnished and had a private pool.
Indeed, luxury didn’t come at a price in Bali that was too outrageous to afford.
Looking back at the time spent in Bali, I probably couldn’t have imagined a better outcome when we were planning our honeymoon. The simple luxuries and natural beauty of Bali charmed us both and made our honeymoon experience unforgettable.
A special word of thanks to TravelTriangle for planning a perfect Balinese honeymoon that catered to our needs in every way possible.
I Had Fun Breaking Stereotypes. Here’s How I Traveled An Entire Week In Bali On A Budget!
High points:
- Watching the sunset at Tanah Lot temple felt incredible.
- I experienced an incredible thrill while paragliding at Nusa Dua. I paid for INR 2,100 extra for the advanced parasailing (different from couples parasailing which was included in our package).
Low point:
- On the third day, we missed a few places to visit because we were running short of time and the driver refused to take us around more than the stipulated time. The itinerary could’ve been planned in a better way.
