This is the also one of the most important airports in Seychelles in terms of getting visitors as it serves 200,000 passengers annually. This Praslin island airport operated by the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority. There are some hotels in Seychelles who offer pick-up services from the Airport. This too is private airstrip which is on Bird Island. It is at a distance of 100 km from and is operated by the Bird Island Lodge.

There is only one charter flight service which is to Mahe, but if you want to have a Helicopter or any other charter flights to different islands, then the management of airport authority can provide you with an option only on request and will be expensive too. 5. Assumption Island Airport

This airport operated by Islands Development Corporation. It has only one concrete runway without any passenger terminal. Regardless of all these things, it is still one of the best destinations which attract a great number of visitors over the past several years. The reason behind that number is the Indian military base on this island. There is only one charter flight which is to the Mahe airport. Location of the airport is 1135 km southwest of Victoria.

6. Alphonse Airport

Distance of this airport from Mahe is only 400 km and it is also operated by Islands Development Corporation. This also has a single runway for the flights. A number of flights fly on this airport is quite low and it is built only for inter-island connection. There aren’t many facilities at this airport compared to other airports.
You can only find a weekly charter flight by Air Seychelles which is also available during October and April.

This airport is also one of the smallest airports and has only one runway. It is situated 55 km away from the Victoria. But it’s operated by Fregate Island Resort and not by any other big authority there. It’s also a private airstrip which has only one runway which is also not paved.

Resort only gives the helicopter transport service for to and from Mahe. But luckily there are some charter flights as well which are being operated by Air Seychelles here.

There are two daily charter flights to and from Mahe airport operated by the Islands Development Corporation. Location of this airport is at Desroches Island which is 230 km of southwest of Victoria. It has only one concrete runway.

Airport doesn’t have many facilities and is very basic. The two flights that are available from this airport are being operated by Air Seychelles.
