We travel not to escape life, but life not to escape us. Thinking on similar lines, Avadh continued the journey of his life by traveling to some place new every year, and encountered the adventures that awaited on the way.
He’s accustomed to travel once in a year for about eight to ten days, but this time, he wanted his 7D/6N trip to Bali to be special as his better half accompanied him on the special occasion of their fourth wedding anniversary. They embarked on their Bali adventure with a zeal to explore a beach paradise, and here’s what they wrote about their incredible experience.
I always travel with a notion of leaving everything else in the world behind and just be surrounded by nature. Luckily, my wife also feels the same and shares the same zeal for travel, and adventure as I do. Wanderlusting for more, we wanted to explore a honeymoon destination beyond beaches, which is famous for nature, adventure, and fun activities.

We had particularly chosen scuba diving and parasailing as for our first-time experience, we wanted to choose a watersport that offers an ultimate adventure.
We were all excited to experience scuba diving for the first time, and it was thrilling beyond our expectations. Exploring the underwater world and the rich coral life was an unforgettable experience for us.
Later in the late afternoon, we went on with our excursion to the famous Dreamland Beach which is located on the peninsula of Bukit. It was quite a relaxing time at the beach and it is a very good place to swim when the tides are high.
Last but not the least, our last stop for the second day was at the Uluwatu temple. We witnessed the most surreal sunset views from Uluwatu temple. It was a great sight to end the day with.
Witnessing The Magic Of Lembongan Island
On the third day, we checked out of the resort and boarded a cruise to go to the Lembongan Island. Cruising on crystal clear blue waters was an amazing experience. On reaching the island, we checked into the Bali Hai Resort which had beautiful traditional huts.

Later in the afternoon, we returned to the hotel and enjoyed a fantastic barbeque lunch. After lunch we rested for a while, then explored around the beautiful property of Bali Hai Resort.
It was quite an adventurous day for us and as we had to leave for Kuta on the next day, we decided to take enough rest and revive our energies. We had dinner at the resort itself and called it a night.

It was already evening when we checked into the hotel post which we decided to explore the local market of Kuta. We indulged in a bit of shopping, post which we wrapped our fourth day by enjoying a nice meal along with a couple of drinks at the Bamboo Restaurant.

Our next stop was the Monkey Forest. It turned out to be quite adventurous for my wife as she was totally fascinated as to how calm and composed the monkeys were. Unlike the ones that you encounter in India, the monkeys at monkey forest were very friendly.
After a wild encounter with monkeys at the Monkey Forest, we shopped a bit more at the lovely Krishna market. Last but not the least, the highlight of the day, was our visit to the Bali Marine and Safari Park, where we got to experience the rich wildlife on our romantic trip to Bali.
Indulging In Shopping Therapy
It was our sixth day in Bali, and we realized that after so much of shopping, we still wanted to shop more. We started out by 8.30 am on the sixth day and post breakfast, we went for shopping in the vibrant and lively markets of Kuta.
We also got a tattoo done for both of us. We strolled around the markets and enjoyed a nice lunch at a Balinese restaurant. Later in the afternoon, we decided to rest a bit as we had plans to attend a party arranged by the hotel staff.
It was totally a different experience to witness the nightlife in Kuta. We had a nice dinner, and danced the night away literally. It was a great night in Kuta and was the best way to end our vacation in this tropical paradise.
Nostalgic Already!
We got up the next morning feeling all nostalgic about the beautiful six days that we had spent on our romantic trip to Bali. We had our final breakfast, and later checked out of the hotel. As we were transferred to the airport, we bid adieu to Bali and boarded our flight back to Mumbai.
