One can reach Mayabunder Island by getting on a bus from Port Blair, which departs daily on the Andaman Trunk Road through Baratang and Rangat. Pertaining to a 4:00 am to 11:00 am schedule, the buses depart from Port Blair daily. Riding through dense jungles and various ferries linked around the area, it takes approximately 9-10 hours to reach Mayabunder. On an ATR, it is possible to come across the Jarawa tribe.
