    The Macchabée Trail 10 km from Visitor Reception Center – It is one of the easiest trails and very popular in the black river gorges national park in Mauritius.

    The Grosse Cateau Verte trail It is an 8 km long trail from the Visitors Center, connecting Plaine Champagne to the Gorges. This trek is steep and difficult. But the view on this trail is unbelievable

    By Bus: There are private buses available frequently from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport to the park entrance.

    By Taxi: Taxi is also available outside the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport which goes to the outskirts of the park.

    There are two Black River Gorges Visitors Centers which provides information. One is located on the west side 8 km away from the Trois Bras Junction. The other information center is located on the east side 2 km away from the Grand Bassin.
