There is no official railway system in Mauritius.

By Road:

There are two kinds of buses that ply in Mauritius; standard and express. Express buses are supposed to be quicker than the standard and are air-conditioned as well. The bus service here starts from 5:30 am and continues until 8:00 pm. There is a late bus service between Port Louis till 11:00 pm.
