Inaugurated on Valentine’s Day of 2013, the Dubai Miracle Garden is situated in Dubailand. It is the world’s largest natural flower garden with more than 150 million flowers in full bloom in varied artificial designs and patterns. Spread over an area of 72,000 square metres, the garden has vast spans of flower displays along with the Dubai Butterfly Garden, the Smurf’s Village, a 15-metre floral clock, an amphitheatre for live events, and the Emirates A380 floral structure. Termed as the “Little Piece of Eden,” one of the fun facts about Dubai Miracle Garden is that it has a three-time Guinness Book of World Records.

2. World’s Tallest Building

Known as the heart and soul of Dubai, the 828-metre-high Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest freestanding building in the world with 163 floors. Dubai Frame, the golden rectangular picture frame stands 152 metres high, connecting two towers that are 93 metres wide in Zabeel Park. It houses a Sky Deck, a Museum, a Vortex Tunnel, a Dubai Past Gallery, a Dubai Future Gallery, a Social Media Wall, and a souvenir shop. The glass-floored walkway provides phenomenal views of the entire city and turns from opaque to transparent the moment somebody steps on it. Housed in the Dubai Mall, Dubai Aquarium is the largest indoor aquarium that has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. The tank can hold 10 million litres of water, one of the interesting Dubai facts about the Aquarium. The underwater tunnel provides a 270-degree view of marine life. The unique thing about the aquarium is that it offers glass-bottom boat ride, aquatic animal feeding sessions, Scuba diving, and Cage Snorkelling to witness the aquatic life closely. Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai is the tallest in-suite hotel in the world, which lies on a man-made island near Jumeirah Beach. The structure of the hotel is in the shape of a sail and has 202 spacious suites, with its Royal Suite being the most expensive hotel suite in the world. Two of the interesting facts about Dubai City’s Burj Al Arab are that its grand interiors are decorated with 24-karat gold and it has the tallest atriums, with a height of 180 metres. While the cantilevered platform near the roof is the area used for helipads, the hotel is a refuge for injured and sick sea turtles.
