Glimpses Of Our Ladakh Trip Experience
From magnificent destinations to picturesque and rough landscape terrains, we traversed the lengths and breadth of Ladakh on our trip. Here’s a glimpse of our Ladakh trip experience that will hopefully leave you inspired to take a trip yourself to this exotic destination.
1. Magnificent Views Of Ladakh Welcomed Us
The picturesque landscapes and the adventurous trails of Ladakh were enough for us to give us an adrenaline rush on our Ladakh trip by bike. Just like we have imagined in our mind, this beautiful land gave us an ultimate high altitude experience while we passed through the mighty Himalayan ranges. The main highlights of adventurous endeavor were the drive to the Magnetic hills, exploring the barren beauty of Nubra Valley passing through the Khardung La Pass which is ranks as one of the world’s highest motorable road. And when we came across the beauty of the Pangong Lake, which is one of the pristine lakes in Ladakh. The clear pristine blue water was like a sight to capture with snow-capped mountains in the background which felt almost unreal to our eyes. Ladakh is not a paradise on earth for the adventure junkies, but its mesmerizing landscapes left us almost speechless.
2. Interacting With Locals Was The Best Part
Apart from the magnificent views, another best thing of our Ladakh trip plan was interacting with the locals. They are very friendly, sweet and welcoming for the tourists. Wherever we went and came across the locals, they greeted us a bright smile and said “Juleh” which is the magical word in Ladakh and used by locals to say hello, goodbye, thank you, how are you. The best part of this place was that even at night it was so safe to walk around on the streets.

3. We Never Got Tired Of The Ladakh Food
Ladakh was just like a food paradise for us and every dish we tasted was delicious and had that authentic Tibetan flavor. For us, it almost felt like we have come across the hidden gem to taste the most scrumptious cuisine. The best things we got to taste was Thupka, Khambir, Kava tea and Momos. And honestly, we can go back again to this place just to get a taste of these delicious varieties of Ladakh food.
4. Shopping Has Many Varieties
I didn’t go out for shopping, but while roaming around the Ladakh markets we came across some authentic items like Pashmina Shawls, Woolen, Tibetan Handicrafts and carpets which were quite fascinating and looked worth the price.
