wVisiting Leh Ladakh was always in our bucket list and we made it happen on our second wedding anniversary – couldn’t have chosen a better time! We’re also glad that we chose the month of February, as the place is at its best during this time. We were aware of the harshness of the weather and all the prospective hindrances that could appear before us and this is why the three of us went completely prepared. Being with the best company at one of the best locations in India was like a dream come true!
During the difficult moments (especially when the weather wasn’t favorable), the locals came forth to help us without thinking twice. This made our friends trip to Leh Ladakh all the more memorable and extremely special. Everything was covered without any hassle and that too right under the budget that we decided. From going for sightseeing and absorbing the picturesque wonders of nature to exploring the shops and buying stuff for which the place is famous, we made sure we didn’t leave any aspect of the city untouched.

3. An Intriguing Holy Shrine – Gurudwara Patthar Sahib
This was a famous Gurudwara that is located on the road between Leh and Srinagar. Specially established to pay respect to Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. We arrived here while touring for imparting the invaluable teachings of Sikhism. We learnt about the mythological chronicles associated with this shrine and each one of us was taken aback by the immense belief the people here hold towards Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This sightseeing experience was certainly amongst the most enthralling ones.
