The Maldives was indeed a paradise which gave us all the time to relax and enjoy the beautiful crystal clear waterbed. We checked-in at the Sun Island Resort and were transferred by a ferry which was quite fascinating. The resort staff welcomed us with all the warmth and we spent the night enjoying a light dinner. Later as we went back to our room we were welcomed by a beautiful room decor and sparkling wine.

2. Explore The Island
We were not able to get over the surreal beauty of this island paradise thus we spent most of the time roaming around on the beach. We also went to take a dive in the swimming pool alongside taking a walk around this picturesque place. Surrounded by pristine blue water and white sand beds, it was indeed the best escape for us to enjoy some private time with each other.
3. Indulge Into Some Adventure Activities
And while the beautiful sightseeings of Maldives cannot be missed, but apart from that we also enrolled ourselves to some enthralling water activities. First, we tried our hands on Jet Ski and basic surfing in the morning. And by the afternoon we finally got the chance to experience the much-awaited activity – Snorkeling. We were asked to wear the mandatory equipment after which we followed the instructions of the professional trainer and took a dive in the water. It was an activity worth experiencing as we witnessed the beautiful coral reefs and marine life.

4. Stay In The Villa
While adventure and beautiful sightseeings truly sums up all the reason to visit the Maldives, but apart from this the luxury villas also makes a great experience which one cannot miss. Indeed for us, it was the most luxurious moment of the vacation. We indulged into sailing which was the last activity of our Maldives holiday for couples. With the water so close to us and the lavish interiors, it was like a dream coming true. And after all the adventure, we spent some relaxing time feeding the sting rays near the water villa.
Our Hotels In Maldives
During our Maldives holiday, we stayed at Sun Island Resort which indeed had the best locations to stay in Maldives and we cannot be more proud of our choice. The resort is the biggest in the Maldives and provided uninterrupted peaceful long walks as well as thrilling water sports activities. For four nights, we were at a well-located beach bungalow and later moved to a water villa to spend the last night. The rooms were impeccable in terms of amenities & hygiene. The services were up to the mark as well and all facilities made available as and when requested.
Food In Maldives
We mostly ate at the buffet restaurants as they offered a wide range of local and international dishes. We were elated to find a section dedicated to Indian dishes and what more could we have asked for. The variety offered in these restaurants made us try different mouth-watering dishes every day and never did we feel for a single moment that we were in a foreign country as far as food is concerned.
