This museum was established to commemorate the great freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. 4. The Lakshmi Vilas Palace – Known As Official Residence Of The Maharaja Of Baroda
Popularly known to be the Official residence of the Maharaja Of Baroda, this is one of the best museums in Vadodara. This monumental structure is considered as the largest private dwelling that is equivalent to four times of the Buckingham Palace.

Pratapnagar Railway Museum is a unique museum in Vadodara housing antiques from the days of the Gaekwad’s Baroda State Railway (GBSR).
