We were planning our honeymoon and looking for places where we could spend some quality time together and relax. Clam beaches and seaside really intrigue us and so does adventure sports so we started surfing through the internet for ideal destinations during November and had a couple of options in mind but we wanted to go for the best as we truly feel that honeymoons are special. 2. Hot Spring
Relaxing at the hot spring in Phuket will always remain one of the most cherished memories of our entire trip. It was really rejuvenating and new for us so we had a good time.
3. Dolphin Show
We went to see the Dolphin show on our fourth day and it was the best experience we had on our trip. It was awesome and will always be unforgettable and close to our hearts.
4. Adventure Sports
We visited James Bond Island where we had a great time as well experience not just one adventure sport but two – sea canoeing and scuba diving! These were the best water activities in Phuket that we could have tried and we are glad to have gathered such a memory!
The accommodations planned for us were really good. We stayed at the following two hotels:
1. Krabi Hotel
This was the first hotel we checked into when we landed in Phuket. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff was hospitable and friendly. The meals provided at the hotel were also satisfactory and delicious.
2. Hotel Phuket
Hotel Phuket was a good stay as the room service and housekeeping were efficient. It was located in a good area so there was nothing to worry about safety. The overall experience of staying at this hotel was amazing.
How To Reach Phuket
If you are wondering how to go to Phuket from Bangalore, then we are here to tell you that we took a direct flight from the city to Phuket. The journey was easy and not very exhaustive.
Our Budget For The Trip
Our personal expenses for the trip were around 30 to 40 thousand rupees; it included exploring the city, shopping and eating out.
Shopping In Phuket
Shopping in Phuket was interesting and we had a lot of fun as we roamed around and discovered the items unique to the culture of Thailand. We shopped for homemade forks which were really attractive and magnets and soaps which are also great. Other things that we recommend people to buy are Thai silk, coconut bowls, and cashew nuts.
The traditional Thai cuisine is really delectable and mouth-watering. Phuket is a great place for those who enjoy non-vegetarian delicacies; since we both eat vegetarian food, we went for the vegetarian options. We tried the local cuisines and to our surprise, we actually found delicious vegetarian food- the most delicious of them all were the rice noodles. If you are also a vegetarian on a trip to the place, then you can look for Indian restaurants in Phuket to make it easier for you.
