Ram Mandir, located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the most important temples for Hindus. According to the Indian epic Ramayana, this place is believed to be where Lord Rama took birth. Lord Rama is known to be one of the avatars of Lord Vishnu. It was occupied by the Babri Masjid, but later the Supreme Court ordered that a Ram temple could be built in this place and the Muslims would be given a separate place to build the mosque. The architecture of this temple is in Gujarat Chalukya style, designed by the Sompura family. The architecture of this temple was built in 1988 and is planned to be one of the most famous temples of India. The detailing of this temple has been beautifully planned to celebrate the presence of Lord Rama. The idol inside Ram Mandir is the infant form of Lord Rama. 2. Treta Ke Thakur

Treta Ke Thakur temple, located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Rama of Treta Yuga. According to Hinduism, there are four yugas, out of which Lord Vishnu, in the avatar of Lord Rama, was born in Treta Yuga. This temple is located on the banks of Saryu River. It is believed that, in this temple Lord Rama conducted the Ashwamedha Yagna, celebrating the victory over Ravana. This temple was built by the Kullu King nearly 300 years ago. This temple was again renovated by the queen of Maratha, Ahilyabai Holkar, in 1784 AD. It is believed that the idols of this temple were originally found near the Saryu River. The idols of Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughan, Hanuman and Vashishtha reside in the temple. All the idols in this temple are made up of black sandstone. Interestingly, this temple is open only for one day throughout the year. It is open on the Kartika Shukla Ekadashi for 24 hours. Thousands of people visit this place to get a glimpse of the gods on this day.

Sita Ki Rasoi, located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is a famous tourist place in Ayodhya. This place is believed to be the kitchen of Goddess Sita. This place is near Ram Mandir. Few vessels are kept on display for tourists to look at the utensils used in ancient times. There are two kitchens. One kitchen in the basement is used to show the vessels and the other kitchen is used to cook. 4. Mani Parvat

Mani Parvat is a rock hill, located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. This is one of the most famous places to visit in Ayodhya. It is believed that, when Lakshman was wounded in the battle with Meghnath, Lord Hanuman pulled out the entire Sanjeevni mountain to treat the wound. While bringing this mountain, a part of it fell in this place. That is why it is also known as Mani Parbat. Sugriv Parbat is right beside this mountain. Lord Budha stayed in this place for nearly 6 years and gave his teachings on Mani Parvat. That is why there are so many Buddhist shrines in this place. There is a Buddhist monastery and a stupa built by Emperor Ashoka. After climbing the Mani Parvat, a beautiful view of the entire Ayodhya is seen. It takes nearly an hour to explore the Mani Parvat.

Dashrath Bhawan, located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is known to be the original palace of King Dashrath, who is the father of Lord Rama. This was also the place where Rama and his siblings spent their childhood. Even though it is not the same as the palace of the Treta Yuga, it is a very beautiful place with beautiful inscriptions and paintings of Lord Rama’s stories, bhajans and Lord Rama’s chantings. The architecture of the temple is exceptionally beautiful, even though it is a small bhavan. As soon as one enters this place, they feel the devotion of Lord Rama everywhere. The idols of Rama, Sita and Lakshman reside in this bhavan. This place is also visited by non-Hindus and it is observed that they also celebrate the glory of Lord Rama in this temple.

6. Sugriva Temple
Sugriva Temple, located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the mythical sites of Ayodhya. This place is also known as Sugriva Fort, which was renovated by Maharaja Vikramaditya. King Sugriva is worshipped with high devotion in this temple. There are also other gods, Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan, worshipped in this temple. It is believed that when Lord Rama left for exile, he left his jewellery to Lord Bharat. Using the jewellery, Lord Bharat built this fort to welcome Lord Rama 14 years later. Since Sugriva helped Rama to fight against Ravana, Lord Rama gave this fort to Sugriva. This fort is now used to spread knowledge about Hinduism. It has now become a teaching school of Hinduism.
