I had lived in Kerala for a couple of years, so the day became quite nostalgic, but definitely worthwhile. In the evening we went for a two to three hour long boat ride, where we met a few other couples. While breaking the ice with them, we also enjoyed the view a lot. Our boat stopped at a local village where we had dinner before heading back to our room.

We stayed for the night in Tharangini Boat House in Alleppey, which we had booked on our own. Everything from the hospitality to the food there was very heartwarming, and the serene views around made the place look even more magical.

The whole second day of our honeymoon trip was spent in traveling from Cochin to Maldives. Though it was quite tiring, it had little moments of joy that we’ll cherish forever.

By now, snorkeling and kayaking had become a routine of our honeymoon in Maldives, and we were enjoying it to the fullest.
