Chopta Valley is one of the most beautiful gems in the Northeast and witnessing it is no less than a delight. Around 5 in the morning, we left for the Gurudongmar Lake, and then headed straight to Chopta Valley. It was an eventful day and we had captured enough beauty to keep our hearts satisfied.

Later, we checked out of the hotel and left for Lachung. The beautiful yet tiring drive of five hours left us a bit exhausted so we called it a day, and relaxed in the hotel for the night.

Exploring the Yumthang Valley was a soul-satisfying experience. We visited the hot springs, savored the local delicacies, and spent a beautiful time before leaving for Gangtok.
Also, we stopped by at the hotel to catch a quick nap so that we could restore our energy for the remaining trip.
Day 6: Enjoying a toy train ride in Darjeeling
A soothing four hour drive took us to Darjeeling where we were left smitten after seeing the natural beauty of the place. Darjeeling is the queen of the hills, and there is no doubt about it.

The spectacular view of Kanchenjunga ranges absolutely made our morning and also the last day of the holiday more special. Of all the things to do in Darjeeling for couples, heading to the market for shopping was one we really wanted to do, and we did. Walking in the town and looking at the local handicrafts was again a treat to our eyes. Later on, we checked out from the hotel and left for our journey back home with a gazillion memories in our heart and our camera!
