Witnessing the magnificent and charming animals of the jungle just having fun in their habitat was definitely a view we would never forget. Although one could also go for an elephant ride, we avoided that as we are totally against animal cruelty. Overall, spectating the elephants like that was an experience to remember.

With aromas that would take one in a trance spread all across, the green tea plantations near the local tea factory were breathtakingly beautiful. Sitting at a little distance away from the heart of the town, this hotel was one of the neatest and cleanest accommodations. To add, the friendly and welcoming staff of this hotel was nothing less than a cherry on top. Our room was as pretty as it could get and the decorations simply added to the experience.
2. Insight Resort, Ahangama
We just spent one night at this hotel so we couldn’t explore around much. However, the amenities and facilities provided by this hotel left us awestruck. Shopping In Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is home to some of the most gorgeous handicrafts that I have ever witnessed. There were small souvenirs, home decor, elephant motifs, handmade bookmarks, notebooks, and many other items at budgeted rates that made shopping Sri Lanka totally worth it. One can also buy different varieties of freshly ground tea, straight from the tea plantations and local tea factories of Sri Lanka. Another famous thing is king coconut in Sri Lanka which is much sweeter than other coconuts. If one has a budget, people can also choose to buy leather products, paintings, or gemstones.
