“Breathless, we flung us on a windy hill, Laughed in the sun, and kissed the lovely grass.”- Rupert Brooke
Think of hills and the first destination that will come to your mind is Himachal Pradesh. Tell us if we are wrong. It would be an understatement to call Himachal Pradesh one of the most beautiful hill stations in India. The ‘Land of Gods’ is an ultimate hill station and the perfect place to start your married life. The hills, picturesque views, and your better half by your side! Does it get any better? That is what Ranjeet and his wife did. They planned for a honeymoon in the hills and spent 6 days in Himachal Pradesh and we think it’s better they tell about their experience themselves, from here.
The marriage madness, the processions and everything else about marriage can be gruesome and tiring but the exciting part is the trip you are gonna take together as a ‘married couple’.yes, the honeymoon and like all the other couples out there, we too wanted our honeymoon to be the best part about our union and we are glad that we can say it really was! We had a great time and made some beautiful memories which just accounted for a happy trip.

Weather In Himachal Pradesh In June
We planned for a Himachal trip in June, considering the fact that our city will be a boiling pot. Delhi in June is at its worst and we didn’t want to start our married life like that so a getaway in honeymoon’s disguise was a more than welcome idea. Our 6 days in Himachal Pradesh were amazing and great weather only acted as an added factor. It was raining cats and dogs when we reached the destination but it was cool and sunny on the days to follow.
Experiences From Our 6 Days In Himachal Pradesh
It’s only the experiences that you have that makes the trip a happy one. Saying our experiences were beautiful and unforgettable would be an understatement. We had the time of our life and we wish we could go back.
1. Kufri: Scenic Views & Adventure
One of the most amazing experiences we had on our 6 days Himachal trip was our visit to Kufri and indulging in some fun activities and enjoy the scenic beauty. Fucked on an altitude of 2622 meters Kufri is as beautiful as it gets. Another great thing about this place was how Instagrammable it was. We took some amazing pictures here and had fun.
2. Shimla Sightseeing
The Mall Road and The Ridge were the best part about our Shimla sightseeing experience. Shimla’s Mall Road is famous around the world and we now know why. It is not your usual Mall Road but something so different and a beautiful experience. The Mall & The Ridge are large open spaces in the heart of the town and offer picturesque views of the beautiful mountain ranges.

If we talk facts, your visit to Manali is incomplete without a visit to Rohtang Pass. It is one of those attractions in Manali that has got it all and is hyped for all the right reasons and we got to know that when we visited the place. Tucked at 3978 meters, Rohtang Pass offers such serene views that one is bound to be awestruck! We indulged in some snow activities and had fun here.
4. Manali Sightseeing
Manali sightseeing experience was another one of the great experiences we had when we spent 6 days in Himachal. We saw and explored many interesting and beautiful places such as Sundernagar Lake, Kullu Valley, and Pandoh Dam. We also went to the famous Hadimba Temple and Tibetan Monastery. One of the best parts of the sightseeing experience was our visit to ‘Vashisht’ hot springs.
Our Hotels In Himachal
We stayed at Hotel Woodstay in Shimla and we are quite satisfied with the experience. The staff was courteous and very helpful and our needs were taken care of. In Manali, we stayed at Siyal Heights and our experience was equally amazing there too. The staff was polite and respectful and the services and facilities provided by the hotel were amazing.
