On A Cycle Safari In Manas National Park
Deep within the conservation park, just when the quiet of the forest turns into a chirping festival of morning birds, and the wildlife comes out to celebrate the day, we could only imagine how serene it would be to experience such moments outside of a tourist jeep or car. The Manas National Park is one of the most popular ecological environments for wildlife in Eastern India which also boasts a biosphere reserve, elephant reserve, and a Project Tiger Reserve. Nestled in the Himalayan foothills, the region surrounding this park makes it a perfect nature escape.
The Manas National Park was closed on 17th March 2020 to limit the spread of Covid-19 in Assam, and after reopening on 20th October, introducing this cycle safari in Manas National Park is an attempt to boost the park’s economy as well as contribute towards a more sustainable safari for tourists.
