    By Air: Koggala Airport is the nearest airport to Ahangama Beach. A cab or taxi can cover the remaining 8 km.

    By Train: You can take a bus or taxi from Colombo International Airport to Colombo Fort. The distance can be covered in 1 hour. As you reach Colombo Fort take a train to Ahangama and cover the 5-hour journey admiring nature’s beauty through the scenic trails of the train. As you get down, take a short tuk-tuk ride of 10 minutes to reach the Ahangama beach.

    By Bus: You can take a bus from the Combo Fort and reach the Galle Fort. take another bus ride to Midigama and you will arrive at the Ahangama beaches. The journey might take 6 to 7 hours and leave you exhausted but it is the most budget-friendly way to reach the beach.
