How To Reach Bardia Park

By Air: You can fly to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu which is the only airport with international operations in the country.
By Road: Kathmandu to Bardia National Park takes around 12-15 hours and buses run daily from Kathmandu and Pokhara to Mahendranagar via Bardia.

Treks at Bardia range from half day treks to overnight excursions. One can hire a guide service for these treks and jungle walks. The best are the full day treks which lead to a higher chance of spotting wildlife. The overnight excursions do not let one stay inside the park and travelers need to rest at the buffer zones.
