Working in a corporate world leaves no time for most of the people to spend with their family & that is exactly when an Andaman family tour happened for Gagan, his wife, and their daughter. Treating travel as a source of meditation, spending quality time with the family, and getting introduced to new experiences, Gagan and his family love to travel to beach and mountain destinations whenever they get some time off the monotonous routine, and here’s what they wrote about their thrilling Andaman family tour.

Must-Do Things On A Fun-Filled Andaman Family Tour
1. Walk Through The Historical Past Of Andaman At The Cellular Jail
The moment we stepped into Port Blair, we could feel the peace and quiet of Andaman’s refreshing environs. We were in the capital city for two days which was the first and the last wherein we visited the world-renowned Cellular Jail, and explored the area of Chidiya Tapu.

Exploring the premises of Cellular Jail and to have witnessed its glorious past was a great learning experience for all three of us. There is nothing quite like living through the rich history, and witnessing the magical Light and Sound show at the Cellular Jail.
Later that evening, we also explored the places around the famous Corbyn’s Cove beach, went for long walks, and witnessed mesmerizing sunsets. During our trip, we also explored the forest area of Chidiya Tapu where we drove through forest and saw another beautiful sunset which was a great experience indeed.
2. Tour de Ross Island And North Bay Island
The Southern Andamans was indeed a treat to watch and it is a must for everyone to explore the quixotic islands of Ross Island and North Bay Island. We stayed there for one day and having served as the headquarters during the period of British reign, Ross Island is an island of rich history and unspoilt natural beauty.

Later we also went onto a tour of the North Bay Island which is popular for its beautiful coral reefs. Usually people go for a glass bottom boat tour but I and my daughter opted for Sea walking and soon we realized our decision was totally right. We experienced seawalking for the first time ever in my life at the North Bay Island and it was totally an adventurous and a breathtaking experience indeed.
3. Exploring Havelock Island Is A Must
We spent a good three days at the Havelock Island. We had booked a jetty by Makruzz and on reaching Havelock, we checked-in at the beautiful property of Sea Shell Resorts. Post resting for a while, we went on to witness the beauty of Asia’s seventh best beach of the Radhanagar beach. It was a great experience to walk on smooth white sands and cherish the sight of such crystal clear waters.
During our stay on the Havelock Island, I along with my wife and daughter went to explore the beach of Kala Patthar too. We relaxed on the beach, went for long walks, clicked a lot of pictures by the beach, and my daughter was really happy to have added some beautiful shells to her collection.
On the third day on Havelock Island, we were supposed to head to the Elephant Beach but due to the bad weather and heavy rain, we had to stay back in the hotel for that day as the tour got cancelled. As an optional activity, I and my daughter went ahead with the thrilling experience of scuba diving. Though it was our second most adventurous activity in Andaman, it was totally breathtaking to enjoy scuba diving for the first time in our lives. It is a must experience for everyone when in Andaman.
4. Soak In The Charm Of Neil Island
The last destination of our Andaman family tour was that of the most gorgeous Neil Island. We were transferred to the island wherein we again checked-into the Sea Shell Resort and we must say it is a beautiful resort chain that offered a comfortable stay throughout our journey.
Later in the day we went to the Lakshmanpur beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. On the next day, we visited the famous Bharatpur beach and explored the marvelous Natural Coral Bridge. The whole surrounding was really amazing and the waters were absolutely clear to enjoy a great dip in it. Overall, Neil Island was a great host to spend two amazing days on an exquisite Andaman family tour.

Our Overall Experience With TravelTriangle
Our experience with TravelTriangle was really a nice one. The travel agent – Peace Andaman really took care of all our requirements very well. The local coordinator Ashok of Port Blair and Neil Island was very hospitable. However, it would have been great if the TT representative could have informed us about the convenience charges.
