Kui Buri National Park comprises of a visitor centre with restroom and parking facilities and a wildlife spotting area. The visitor centre is open round the clock while the wildlife spotting area is open for visitors from 2 pm to 6 pm. The last entry for this is at 5 pm. The ticket for both the visitor centre and wildlife area is INR 451/person.

Things To Do In Kui Buri National Park

The most important and primary activity to do in Kui Buri National Park is wildlife spotting. The forest is said to have largest populations of elephant and gaur in Thailand. With almost 320 elephants and huge number of Gaurs; this place is also famous for leopards, golden jackals, barking deer and langurs. Other than animals; some common birds spotted here are crested fireback, Indian roller and Asian Openbill. Spotting wildlife and bird watching are the most favourite activities of Kui Buri National Park, among the tourists.

This is the best place to watch huge herds of Thailand’s national animal, elephants, in their natural habitat along with other wild animals and fauna-flora of the region. The park has one of Thailand’s largest herds of wild elephants, about 320 total. There are plenty of stations and platforms for you to watch these gentle giants. Just 50 minutes drive away from Kui Buri is another beautiful a marine national park, called Khao Sam Roi Yot. This one also falls in the Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand. Spread across 98.08 km², of which 20.88 km² are marine areas, this national park offers you a wildlife experience across different forms of habitat. Established in 1966, this is the first coastal national park of Thailand. Khao Sam Roi Yot includes Thailand’s largest freshwater marsh. Some of the marine species you can spot here include: Mudskippers, fiddler crabs, collared kingfisher, snapping shrimps, mud creeper, Irrawaddy dolphins and oysters. Some are animals you can see in its mainland are: serow, dusky langurs, fishing cats and many bird species.

3. Phraya Nakhon Cave

Just 1 hour drive away from Kui Buri National Park is the magnificent Phraya Nakhon Cave, a mysterious tourist spor in Thailand.
