Cauvery Nisargadhama is a group of small and big islands in the Cauvery River close to Kushalnagar town. Founded in 1989, it has drawn tourists for many years for its various attractions. Since the Nisargadhama Bird Park is inside the Kaveri Nisargadhama, you should first pay the entry fees of Rs. 20 for adults and Rs. 10 for children as entry fees. As you walk into the Nisargadhama Bird Park, there is another entry fee of Rs.30. If you want to feed the birds, you have to pay another Rs. 30. To take pictures alongside the exotic birds, you should pay Rs. 60.

- Visit Nisargadhama Deer Park while you are here. There is no additional fee to enter the Deer Park. The deer are very friendly and also come very near to the fence. You can closely observe their habits and way of life. This is a very enjoyable spot for children.
- Right after you exit the Nisargadhama Bird Park, you will come across the Zipline. It’s very short and costs around Rs.100 per person.
- There are also a few rope activities in the park. Unleash the child in you and enjoy climbing and having fun with the rope activities here! Since they are not constructed on a higher level, they are perfectly safe for people of all ages.
- The boats available here are paddle boats. You can boat for 15-20 minutes in the designated area. The view while boating on the Kaveri River is spectacular.

- You can opt for easily available buses. Buses are a cheaper and more economical mode of transportation. There are a variety of buses, from non-AC seaters to AC Sleepers.
- The closest railway station to Coorg is in Mysore, 117 km away. You can hail a cab from Mysore to reach Coorg. Otherwise, you also can hop on a bus from outside the railway station in Mysore to Coorg.
- The closest International Airport to Coorg is the Mangalore International Airport. Mysore Airport is the domestic airport near Coorg. You can always catch a taxi from the airport or travel to the bus stop and catch a bus.
