We reached Bali late in the evening and headed straight to our hotel in Kuta to get some rest. Our stay in Grand Istana Rama in Kuta was an exuberant affair. Right from the Hindu-style entrance to its plunge pool, everything in the hotel was appealing. We got a nice and cozy waterfront room with the resplendent views of the Kuta Beach right from our balcony.

After having a good night’s sleep and recharging our batteries, we were ready for all the adventure in Bali that we had planned. Bali is famous for its numerous thrilling water activities and our plan was to strike them all. My wife and I had a lot of fun Parasailing, Scuba diving, Jet Skiing, Banana Boat, and Sea Walking. We were exhausted by the end of the day but our little adventures in the exotic waters of Bali were worth every ounce of energy. I recommend everyone to partake in sea activities when you visit Bali during your next vacation.
Day 3: Mount Batur and Monkey Forest

We reserved this day for sightseeing around Kuta. Our first stop was the Mount Batur, the sacred mountain in Kintamani which is also an active volcano. Not even my words can describe the exhilarating scenery of the Batur Mountain and the crater lake. It was stupendous! We clicked so many photos to capture memories and the beautiful essence of this place.
Our next stop was the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary which we found out to be fascinating. One of the most popular attractions in Bali, we found the notorious Balinese long-tailed monkeys swinging through canopies around the sacred temple and fed them bananas. The mossy relics and statues inside the sanctuary were equally charming.
Day 4: ‘Best Museum Visit Ever’

After having two exciting days in a row, we decided to slow down and chillax in our hotel. In the afternoon, we went to the Dream Museum Zone, a 3D museum in Bali. Generally, I find museums boring but this 3D museum was so much fun and entertaining. Our phone gallery is filled with our innumerable photos from this place. This was the best museum I had ever visited in my life.

Day 5: My first experience of River Rafting

One of the water sports activities was still left on my list. Since I had never done river rafting before, it was a special experience for me. Rafting on the strong currents of the river gave a great kick to my adrenaline levels.
In the evening, we checked into our one bedroom with private pool villa at Transera Grand Kancana Villas Bali. The stylish retreat was designed in a traditional Balinese village and was our high point in terms of staying experience.

One of the most important landmarks of Bali, Tanah Lot Temple stupefied us with its picturesque backdrop and amazing stone architecture. One of the best experiences was crossing the waters to reach the temple. The holy water around the temple was so clear and refreshing that you could even taste its sweetness.
In the evening, we boarded the Bounty Cruise in Bali to spend a romantic evening in the waters. We were ushered with a traditional Balinese Welcome and a dance performance. After having a sumptuous complimentary dinner, we danced our night away on the cruise. It was one of the most cherished experiences on our honeymoon trip to Bali.
Day 7: The Stellar Uluwatu Temple
Our Anniversary Vacation In Bali Was The Long Overdue Present We Always Wanted For Ourselves!
We ended our honeymoon trip to Bali with an exciting visit to the great Uluwatu Temple where we realized the conception of Bali. The stellar Kecak dance performance by the temple dancers depicting the tale of Ramayana was simply superb. It was a great end to our romantic holiday in Bali.
