Kanatal is one of the top breathtaking destinations that charms travelers from far and wide. Kanatal, a quaint village situated in the mesmerizing valley of Uttarakhand is an unexplored paradise where happiness meets heaven. Situated at the height of 2590 Metre, Kanatal is one of the hidden gems of Uttarakhand and less popular than any of its neighboring cities such as Mussoorie and Rishikesh.
We have visited many destinations, but Kanatal was there on our bucket list for quite a long time. So, I and my friends decided to go on a weekend getaway to Kanatal. We already knew about the fantastic services that TravelTriangle provides, so it was no brainer for us to find a trip organizer. We booked a trip of 3 days in Kanatal and needles to say, our trip was such a wonderful experience.

We visited Kanatal in July which was turned out to be the perfect time for us. Kanatal weather in May was quite chilly and it was raining a little bit which made our trip all the more exciting. Some Highlights Of Our Kanatal Trip
Here are some of the best experiences we’ve had on our lovely trip:
1. Enjoying Our Stay In Camp Garden
Upon reaching Kanatal, we headed towards our pre-booked camp where we were welcomed with some drinks. Now, without wasting time, we went for sightseeing. We visited the Surkanda Devi Temple, which was about 5 km from the city center. Apart from this, we also visited Tehri Dam which was indeed a treat to eyes. Even though this place is pretty small, but there are quite many attractions to see and frankly, we spent a lovely holiday.
2. Indulging In Adventurous Activities
Our second day was dedicated to trying hands at various entertaining and adventurous activities like volleyball, badminton, trekking & rock climbing. We also took part in different camping activities such as Zip lining, valley walk, Sky walk, Valley crossing, Net crossing. In the evening we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor games and nightlife of camping in the night. We engaged ourselves in so many experiences but, the camp stay was the best.
Our Personal Expenses In Kanatal
We stayed in Kanatal for about 2 days and spend approximately 1 or 2k per person. This also included meals and little shopping. We also splurged a bit on water activities and other activities. All in all, with such a low budget, we had so many experiences.
