“Kashmir breathes within its locals and visitors alike with a pulse that they can sense, a heartbeat that they can feel and an expression that they can personify.”
Truer words have never been spoken. I chose kashmir for my honeymoon because it is popularly known as the ‘Paradise on Earth’. Its scenic splendour, snow-capped mountains, bountiful flora-fauna, and kind people are the reasons why tourists love Kashmir so much.
Whether it is winter or summer, the undulating charm of Kashmir will leave you spellbound, and overwhelming at times. We had such an amazing time during our 5 days in Kashmir during winter. I am still under the spell this valley had cast on me.

Best Experiences During 5 Days In Kashmir
Here are the best highlights of our 5 days in Kashmir
1. Gulmarg
Gulmarg had become a snowy wonderland. It was full of snow as the snowfall occurred in almost every 10 minutes. Our visit to Gulmarg was exciting. We had so much fun skiing and snowboarding. We also took photos in those traditional dresses since it is customary every time you visit a hill station. Lol
2. Saffron Fields
Our ride from airport to Pahalgam was an awesome experience, visually speaking. We made a few stops on the way like Apple Valley, Kashmir Valley, Baisaran- the Mini Switzerland of India etc. The weather was cold but it was amazing. We also saw saffron fields in Pampore on our way. Now we know why it is so expensive to buy. It was really a heaven on earth.
