Bvlgari—an Italian jewelry and luxury goods brand also known for producing and marketing product lines including jewelry, watches, fragrances, and luxury hotels. With an opening in Shanghai in the month of June, Bvlgari now has a new luxury address.
The 6th hotel in the luxury brand’s hospitality collection, Bvlgari, Shanghai is located on the banks of Suzhou Creek. This is a 48-floor tower featuring 82 rooms that include 19 luxury suites. Along with this, Bvlgari has also restored the adjacent Chamber of Commer Shanghai and turned it into a a 500-square metre, triple-height-ceilinged Bulgari ballroom with Italian gardens.
In order to give the hotel a Chinese feel while maintaining its Italian design, the guestrooms feature materials like black lacquer cupboards and Tuscan Calacatta marble tabletops. The hotel also has a spa featuring 25-metre indoor heated swimming pool and beauty treatments that are based on luxury brands like La Mer and Amala.
Dining options include a rooftop Italian restaurant and a fine dining Cantonese restaurant in the former Chamber of Commerce Shanghai. Bulgari also plans to open luxury hotels in Moscow and Paris by 2020 and Tokyo by 2022.
