Day 1: A warm welcome to the land of blue oceans
Kishor’s Honeymoon In Maldives: A Postcard-Like Romance!
We took an early morning flight from Mumbai and landed in Male at 2.30 pm. The driver picked us up from the airport and drove us to the pier. We boarded the Holiday Inn boat along with one other couple and traveled straight to the Kandooma island, Maldives.
We checked into the Holiday Inn Resort at Kandooma Island at 5 pm and rested for a while. Afterwards, the resort had arranged a candlelight dinner for us. Despite us being vegetarians, there were plenty of food options at the resort and the meals were delicious. After dinner, we returned to our room and called it a night.

Day 2: Discovering restaurants in Maldives
Why I Chose A 3N/4D Honeymoon Trip To Maldives
The next day, we woke up, had breakfast, and took snorkeling lessons at 9.30 am. After those lessons in shallow waters, we practiced near the beach based on what we were taught. After spending a few hours at the beach, we went back to the resort and had lunch. Post lunch, we took a quick afternoon nap to recharge ourselves.
Later in the day, we did a photo shoot at all the scenic beach spots in the resort. The island being small, it came entirely in the boundaries of the resort.
Must Try Experiences For A Perfect Honeymoon In Maldives
In the evening, we put on our fancy clothes again, for a night of dancing, fine dining, and good vibes. We visited an awesome restaurant called “the deck”. It had live music, to which we danced. We also saw a turtle race organized by the resort, in which one could bet on turtles to win. With another day, ending on the right note, we rested for the night.
Day 3: Snorkeling in the deep blue
Best Ways To Explore Maldives On A 5D/4N Honeymoon Trip
The next day, we woke up at 7 am and got ready for our deep sea snorkeling. As our training was complete, and we were confident enough(hopefully!), we proceed for snorkeling in the deep ocean.
It was a lovely experience swimming with the rich and diverse marine life. I managed to see some jelly fish, turtles and other colorful fishes I didn’t even know existed. After returning from snorkeling, we shifted to a water villa, which we had booked for a night. Since we were tired, we decided to relax in the pool and do nothing but chill out.
In the evening, we thought of visiting The Deck again to spend another lovely evening. I guess the live music had left a long lasting effect on us. That night I also tried a local coconut drink. Post dinner, we returned to our water villa, enjoy the moonlight in the patio and went off to sleep around midnight.
Day 4: Farewell Maldives
Maldives Or Bora Bora For Honeymoon: Which One Should You Go To In 2022?
On our final day, we couldn’t leave without saying goodbye to the lovely fishes. So we went ahead for yet some more snorkeling at 8.30 am. We checked out of the villa at noon. Our return ferry in Maldives was at 5 pm, so the resort allowed us to keep our baggage at their counter for the meanwhile.
In the evening, we took our ferry to Male and then took a flight to Sri Lanka for our next set of adventures.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maldives. We bathed in luxury, swam with turtles, danced with each other, and devoured on some delicious cuisines on our honeymoon trip to Maldives. Overall, it was a blissful affair and perfect beginning to a new chapter in our lives.‘
