welcome Jim corbett

I am an avid traveler who was bitten by the travel bug at a very young age. Having explored many countries like Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Ecuador, France, and most of the cities in India like Hyderabad, Solan, Shimla, Mussourie, and Manali, I wanted to go somewhere different this time.

A Short Trip Exploring Best Places In And Near Jim Corbett

This was the first time that my mom went on an all-sisters trip and I went with my favorite set of people. As everything was so well taken care of by TravelTriangle, the only thing we had to do was just get ready, and embark on our journey!

Touchdown Jim Corbett

We left on the night of 20th March and on the first day, we arrived at Winsome Resort & Spa at 6 am. It was a smooth drive and as soon as we arrived, we were given two interconnected rooms for 7 members.

Later we visited the Garjiya Devi temple and the Kosi River which were okay to visit but not that great as the river was polluted. After spending some time around the river, we returned to the hotel by 5.30 pm.

The staff offered us tea, coffee, and cookies by the pool, and we relaxed for a while before we started the bonfire at around 7 pm. Music, bonfire, and family, made our night fun and special.

One thing that I want to mention here is the quality of food. Since we were the only people at the hotel, the staff offered the best and personalized service.

We had dinner by 9.30 pm and retired to bed early for the night as we had to wake up early the next day for jungle safari.

Jungle Safari At The Break Of Dawn

We left at 5.40 am for the jungle safari and reached the park in 10 minutes. Our safari started at 6 am and our guide was very nice and friendly. He was quick in spotting animals and was well versed with all the routes.

All Girls Trip To Jim Corbett: A Weekend Escape In The Heart Of Nature

We spotted two groups of wild elephants, few deers, blue bulls, kingfisher birds, and a big peacock. The whole jeep safari experience was breathtaking. We also drove on a dry river which was an out-of-the world experience and returned to the hotel by 9am.

Post a scrumptious breakfast, we slept for a while and decided to chill out for the day in the hotel. We were chilling by the pool, enjoyed the laughing therapy, went to the gym, played table tennis, and badminton, and had a lot of fun. Later we again had tea by the pool while my cousins enjoyed swimming.

The whole bonding and chilling scene with family is what I wanted as I was spending time with them after one full year. Later, we had an amazing meal for dinner by 9.30 pm and went on to play dumb charades in the room.

Since we had to depart the next day to Delhi, we just gossiped the night away while we enjoyed our drinks. Our experience was full of fun, laughter and happiness which is exactly what we were looking forward to.

Bidding Adieu To Jim Corbett & Welcoming Memories!

The next day we finished our breakfast by 9.30 am, checked out of the hotel by 10.30 am, and set on our way back to Delhi. We stopped on the way twice to buy some fruits & sweets, and reached back Delhi by 5 pm. The drive back home was really smooth and the trip was relaxing to the core.

30 Resorts In Jim Corbett For 2022 That Are Definitely A Class Apart

Even though it was a short trip, we managed to enjoy it to the core. The services offered by the hotel were better than expected and we loved the total vibe and the relaxed environment. We ourselves were quite surprised how we actually pulled off a random trip to Jim Corbett, which was beyond our expectations.

High Points:

  • Safari was totally the wow moment. The break of the dawn is the best time to go for a jeep safari. The whole vibe is so chilled out.
  • Bonfire and the drive on the dry river were also great experiences.
  • The hospitality of the staff was overwhelming.
  • Last but not the least, the food. My family is very particular about the food but every time we had a meal, we were surprised at the taste, quality and the cleanliness maintained by the staff.

Low Points:

  • The hotel did not have automatic power backup and it lead to power cuts but short ones.
  • The hotel did not have Wi-Fi in the rooms. The one in the lobby had good connectivity but it would have been convenient if it was in all the rooms.
  • Visiting the Kosi river is something people can skip as the river is very polluted.
  • Though we never got to see tigers, it was still a good experience.

Our Experience With TravelTriangle

Our experience with TravelTriangle was above par and the package was totally worth it. Our total expenses amounted to a total of INR 30,000 for 7 people for 3 days and 2 nights, which is totally value for money and way better than other portals.

a happy good bye to a memorable trip

I have already recommended TravelTriangle to my family members. Though I would return to France in the coming days, my family will surely plan for another holiday with TravelTriangle soon!
