Seven members of ‘Ladies of Harley’ have proven the safety of Indian Highways. The group covered Golden Quadrilateral, which started off from Daman on 7th April and ended on 27th April at the same place. Along the route, the ladies visited places such Udaipur, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Aurangabad, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolhapur.

Ladies of Harley, or LOH is an exclusive biker group by Harley Davidson. Their 14-day long sojourn made them travel a distance of 600 kilometers “We also want to tell people that girls and women can and should ride motorcycles,” said chapter director of LOH, Sunita Kunjeer. Along with that, the group also wanted to extend the message of road safety.

The group, Ladies of Harley, consists of women aged between 23 years and 48 years. Smita Mande of Mumbai, Suneeta Kunjeer of Pune, Anushriya Gulati of Dehradun, Urvasi Desai of Ahmedabad and Shirley George, Praveshika Katiyar and Krupa Reddy (All three hailing from Bangalore). Talking about the Golden Quadrilateral route, this is a network of national highways connecting major cities of the country, namely Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
