This fun water park started out as the set of the musical Popeye back in 1980 but has since developed into sprawling water and amusement park. As the name suggests, the park is themed after the spinach-loving cartoon character Popeye, with mascots entertaining you and the family every step of the way with their antics. A resident animation team allows children to be stars of their own show for the day, a favorite with visiting families here.

Besides this, there are plenty of trampolines, boat rides, sunbathing decks for the adults, beach lidos and a Santa town that drives kids crazy. There is also a Popeye museum, with original displays of comics from 1936. If you have very small kids, Malta’s largest jump around the playground is also housed here. Overall, the Popeye Village is hands-down the best place to have a fun day with your family as water parks in Malta do not get better than this!
