Weather In Maldives
Maldives temperature in April was absolutely amazing. Of course, it was humid but that did not stop us from having the utmost fun. The evenings especially became really nice and breezy. We strolled and spent all our days on the beach, in the water and enjoyed our vacation to the fullest.
How We Reached Male From Delhi
We had our flight from New Delhi. It was a 4-hour flight via Sri Lanka. It got a little delayed due to some circumstances because of which we reached Sri Lanka late in the evening around 7 PM. After reaching the Maldives, we were greeted by the hotel staff who took us to our island in the resort’s speedboat. This took approximately 30 minutes.

Our 4 days trip was absolutely brilliant and totally romantic. We enjoy spending time together exploring this gorgeous place and trying out various new things.
1. Arriving In Maldives
We reached the Maldives in the evening and were soon taken to our resort by the resort staff who greeted us at the airport. It took 30 minutes from the airport to reach the resort. Upon reaching we were welcomed with a welcome drink, towels, and fresh fruit basket. Soon we retired into our rooms and rested.

2. Exploring The Authentic Cuisine
With the start of day 2, we were all fresh and rejuvenated. We feasted on the delicious breakfast buffet that had a huge variety of food. We enjoyed it to the fullest and then stepped out of the hotel to spend our entire day just playing around in the water and lazing around on the beach. For lunch, we headed back to our resort and again treated us with the authentic cuisine of Maldives and again went back to the beach to have some more fun and click a few pictures. We ended the day with a yummy dinner and a sound sleep in our amazing room.

2. Trying Snorkeling
We intended to spend day 3 exactly how we had spent our day 2, in leisure. But the highlight of this day was definitely our scuba diving session which was an overwhelming experience. We spent hours exploring the depths of the water and spotting the beautiful marine life. Later, as the day ended we were entertained with a show that was performed by the locals at the bar of our resort. After dinner, we headed back to our room.
3. Heartfelt Good Bye
The resort had given us our speedboat schedule a day prior to our departure which was today. We packed our bags, enjoy the hearty breakfast for one last time and said goodbye to this beautiful island and headed towards the airport. We boarded the flights with fond memories of our trip that we will always cherish.

The Maldives is a very expensive country. Shopping here is only possible if have been saving for your vacation big time. We bought several souvenirs and gifts from the airport as the same things in the market were a lot more expensive.

During our stay in the Maldives, we only ate at our resort as thankfully they were serving everything under the sky. We really enjoyed every single meal here. We did not really try any Indian restaurant but there are a few that can be dined in if you are craving for it. Some of the famous ones are Symphony Restaurants, Acha’s Poppadums, Bombay Darbar and more.
What To Pack For A 4 Day Trip To Maldives
- Since it is a beach place, the main thing you need to pack is your bathing suit
- Put a lot of beachwear in your luggage as you would need that
- Sunscreen is another important component that you must pack for your vacation in the Maldives
- Pack your sunglasses and do your eyes favor of protecting them from the strong sun glares

Apart from our budget of INR 105000 we additionally spent INR 30000 as our personal expense out of which INR 20K was spent on scuba diving. Since our itinerary covered everything and all meals, we did not have to spend anything on food. However, the rest 10K was spent on shopping that we did prior to our trip on clothes for the vacation.
