Meeting new people, exploring the unexplored places, and learning about different cultures are some of the things that traveling helps me to experience. It also soothes my mind. But since I am a banker by profession now, I rarely get time to head out, unlike my college days when traveling from one city to another was all I used to do with my friends. But like they say, getting married changes everything, mine did too. It took me back to the golden days when ‘travel’ was my first love (Though, it’s second now).
So, I was looking for the best honeymoon destinations in India, where my wife & I could spend quality time together and also escape the heat at the same time. It was then I came across TravelTriangle’s website on the internet and I installed the app right away. Since picking a hill station was already on my mind, all I had to do was select my holiday mood on the app and choose from the suggested destinations. After a good amount of browsing, we decided to plan our honeymoon trip to Himachal as the location seemed perfect to us and the packages quite pocket-friendly. Post the booking and payment, we were all set to drive to the hills and we couldn’t wait for our romantic journey to start!

Spellbinding Places To See In Himachal That Made Our Trip Memorable
1. India Tourist Park in Kufri
We began our romantic sojourn with a stay in Shimla and a visit to the famous India Tourist Park in Kufri. Situated near the Great Himalayan Nature Park, this is one of the best places to visit in Himachal, especially for couples.
While there was a lot to do there like indulging in a yak or pony ride, both of us decided to explore the park, soak in the serenity, and capture every beautiful moment together. It was indeed the best place to visit for kick-starting our honeymoon in Himachal.
2. Christ Church, Mall Road & Scandal Point in Shimla
vShimla is the queen of hills and it’s no secret anymore. On the second day of our trip, we had our breakfast and headed out to the park first in Kufri and then the famous attractions in Shimla later in the evening.
It was quite an eventful day as we visited the Christ Church, Mall Road, Ridge Road, Scandal Point, and almost every other famous place that was in the vicinity of our hotel. The weather only added stars to our experience and we had an impeccable time throughout the day.
3. Kully Valley & Pandoh Dam
On the third day of our romantic vacation in Himachal, we left for Manali as soon as we had our breakfast. The drive to Manali from Shimla was truly a breathtaking affair and a journey that both of us will cherish for lifelong.
During the road trip, we stopped by at the gorgeous Kully Valley & Pandoh Dam. Situated between Manali and Largi, this valley is nothing less than a beautiful gem in the hills. Both our eyes and souls were delighted!
4. Solang Valley
Amongst all the places to visit in Himachal, Solang Valley is one place that you can’t afford to visit. We spent the whole day in the snow and there’s no doubt that we recall it as one of the best moments of our honeymoon trip.
Being in the lap of nature with your loved one is a feeling that even you would want to experience time and again. And I, I was left awestruck, looking at my wife who looked even more beautiful while standing against the sheer beauty of Solang.
5. Naggar Castle in Manali
It was the second last day of our holiday in Himachal, and it was time to visit the gorgeous Naggar Castle. Situated on the left bank of River Beas, the castle looked like a home away from home.
We explored it for a while, sat hand in hand, and captured a zillion memories, both with our camera and our eyes. It’s indeed a must-see place in Manali and we felt glad that despite the continuous rain, we could make it to this place.
