I found about TravelTriangle while I was searching for Dubai holiday packages. My friends and I were planning a trip to Dubai for the past 6 months. As the months passed by, the chances of our trip happening looked bleak but I’m glad we finally managed to pull through and avoid a stereotypical friends group vacation idea that never becomes a reality.

Soon enough, we got a package booked for the six of us. The build up to our trip was exciting and impatient. We all knew what we had in store for us. We all knew it’ll be an adventure like no other.
A brief look at the itinerary we followed on our 3 day trip to Dubai
Day 1: We took a flight from Bengaluru to Dubai. Checked into the Saffron Hotel, Dubai at 7 am. We left for Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi at 10 am. In the evening, we proceeded to the Date Market, followed by Grand Mosque. Afterwards, we had dinner and returned to the hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast, we began with Dubai City Tour. We visited Dubai Museum, Dubai Metro, Palm Atlantis, and finished at the Dubai Mall. We went for Desert Safari in the evening.
Day 3: First half was free, so we utilized it for shopping. In the second half, we checked out of the hotel and visited the Burj Khalifa at 3 pm. From there, we were directly dropped at the airport for our 7 pm flight back to Bengaluru.

In a very short time, we realized that Dubai is the best place in Asia for adventure sports. While going around Dubai seeing the adventure activities, the crazy ideas in our minds we once had as kids seem to come to life every now and then.
Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi
It is an amusement park built on the Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. A ferrari based theme park, Ferrari World was a heaven for us friends who love the thrill and adventure of speedy cars.
We started hopping on rides as soon as we got in the park. First up, we sat on the fastest rollercoaster in the world called Formula Rossa that reached speeds up to 240 km/hr. This was one of the best experiences of my life. It all happened so quickly, that we didn’t even had time to react at the breakneck speeds we were reaching on the rollercoaster.

Afterwards, we went on the Flying Aces rollercoaster ride. It was another thrilling ride that we all liked. Later on, we ended our tour by going to GT Racing and Mission Ferrari (which was a virtual reality racing experience). After the rides, we saw a spectacular 3D show called Viva Ferrari. We couldn’t cover the other rides due to the long waiting queues inside Ferrari World.

Dubai Desert Safari
Desert Safari was one of the coolest experience of our trip. We loved the dune bashing activity during our safari. We were picked up by the desert suv a few hours before sunset. They took us an hour out of Dubai and then straightaway took the car into the open desert. The strength and the muscle shown by the car to easily go up and down the dunes had us all awestruck.

After that, we reached the desert camp and hopped on the back of a camel for a stroll in the desert. Watching the sun go down on a camel back in the Sahara Desert was one to remember for the ages. In the evening, we were entertained with cultural programs of belly dancing and local music performance. Finally, we had dinner at the desert campsite to wind up what was an epic day.

- Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi
We visited the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. The architecture of the mosque was breathtakingly impressive. It was a massive visual treat for us. The mosque holds many world records like having the world’s biggest carpet and world’s biggest chandelier. The mosque becomes all the more beautiful in the evening when artificial lights take over the entire place.
- Burj Khalifa, Dubai
On our final day in Dubai, we visited the Burj Khalifa. We were given the ticket to visit the 124th floor at the Burj Khalifa. The panoramic view from the lounge was incredible. We clicked plenty of pictures from the balcony of the tallest building in the world.
There is one thing for certain, Dubai is a land of marvels for anyone who likes to dream towards the impossible. The architecture, adventure sports, and the story of the place made it one incredible experience I would like to go and have once again in the future.
