The name of this place derived from the three hilltops which encloses the hamlet. Situated at an elevation of 5,800 ft, this place is 3 kms from Takdah and stands facing the Kalimpong hills. This place is now famous for the initiative taken by the WWF (World Wide Federation) which assists 17 families for the development of the model organic village. In part of this project, the locals here practice modern farming techniques and the floriculture methods.
