The beach is located in a tiny bay on the seashore that makes the Old Town and the offshore islands of Lokrum look tiny. This is a pebble beach that can be reached by descending about 160 steps from the Jakov church located atop the cliffs that overlook the beach. It is a popular hangout for the Dubrovnik locals in the summers. The Sveti Jakov beach in Dubrovnik can be reached by taking a bus to the Jakov Beach from the Ploce Gate of the Old City.

It faces south-east and there is shade from the strong sun in the early afternoon so you can swim by the cliff in the mornings. The Bellevue beach in Dubrovnik can be reached by descending the steps that are beside the Hotel Rixos Libertas.

10. Sunj Beach
