Changampuzha Park is one of the beautiful parks in Kakkanad of Kochi in Kerala state. Located in a vast piece of land measuring approximately 25 acres, this park is named after the highly famous Malayalam poet Sri Kumaran Asan, often referred to as Changampuzha Krishna Pillai. The park has a statue and the poem – ‘Veena Poovu’ written by Changampuzha which is the main feature of the park. The Hill Palace Museum is located in Central Kerala at Kakkanad. It was completed in 1865 and was the palace of the Kochi Maharajas up to 1974. Located in the southern part of Kochi city in Kerala, India, the museum spans 52 acres of land and has 49 buildings reflecting the traditional architecture of the place and is related with the Kochi royal family. The museum has many oil paintings, murals, manuscripts, traditional weapons, sculptures, coins and carpets/furniture.
