Chavakkad Beach is a beach in Chavakkad Municipality of Thrissur District in the Indian state of Kerala. It lies on the Arabian Sea coast and attracts tourists. Palayur Mar Thoma Major Archiepiscopal Church, is located at Palayur (historically known as Palur), in Thrissur district in Kerala on the west coast of India. Vazhani Dam is a clay dam built across the Wadakkancherry River (also known as Kechery River ) near Wadakkancherry in the Thrissur district of Kerala. Vazhani dam is built with mud and it is an earth dam like Banasura Sagar Dam. The main purpose of this dam was irrigation. The length of this dam is 792.48 metres.
