Chavakkad Beach is a beach in Chavakkad Municipality of Thrissur District in the Indian state of Kerala. It lies on the Arabian Sea coast and attracts tourists. The beach is situated 5 Kilometers from Guruvayoor Temple Sri Krishna Temple. At this beach, the river meets the sea forming an estuary. The meeting point is known as Azhimukham in Malayalam. It is counted amongst Kerala’s most popular beaches because it is unexplored by domestic tourists. Chavakkad Beach is known for its serene and empty beaches, thus guaranteeing couples’ privacy. The beach has several attractions, from the lighthouse and fish markets to Ayurvedic farmland, making it a perfect picnic spot.

Mammiyur Mahadeva Temple is a popular Shiva temple situated in Guruvayoor, Thrissur district of Kerala, India. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple premises. Palayur Mar Thoma Major Archiepiscopal Church, is located at Palayur (historically known as Palur), in Thrissur district in Kerala on the west coast of India. According to Saint Thomas Christian tradition, the Syrian church was established in 52 AD by St Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. According to Saint Thomas Christian tradition, Thomas travelled from Muziris (Kodungallur) and landed at Palayur by boat through the backwaters. Palur Copper Plates also known as Palayur Chempu Pattayam or Palayur Cheppēd is a set of four copper plates that were discovered from the Palayur Church. These have inscriptions in old Malayalam and Tamil Vattezhuthu script and give accounts of several of the monetary and land deals of the church. The four plates are dated from 1606 (Kumbham 781 Malayalam Era), 1677 (Chingam 852 M. E.), 1681 (Mithunam 856 M. E.) and 1743 (Meenam, 918 M. E.) respectively.

3. Vazhani Dam

Vazhani Dam is a clay dam built across the Wadakkancherry River (also known as Kechery River ) near Wadakkancherry in the Thrissur district of Kerala. The water is used for irrigation and drinking purposes. The dam has a four-acre garden and the construction was completed in 1962. Vazhani dam is built with mud and it is an earth dam like Banasura Sagar Dam. The main purpose of this dam was irrigation. The length of this dam is 792.48 metres. The Opening date of this dam was in 1962.
