Being an introvert, Shruti prefers to keep herself at bay from the last minute hustle-bustle when it comes to traveling. She rather loves to plan her trips well in advance, and go along with the travel packages where she gets the leverage of customizing her trip according to her own requirements just like she planned her family trip to Kerala. Get to know how brilliant was her experience in Kerala as she writes about her wonderful journey.
For me traveling comes with an excitement of exploring a new place, trying out their local cuisine and having a relaxing time with my people. Just as I was planning a family vacation, Munnar was in the back of my mind as I have heard about its surreal beauty. Thus, we settled down to book our package for Kerala.
While looking out for the best Kerala packages, I came across TravelTriangle. They took a proper lookout to all our preferences and designed the perfect package for me and my family to have a memorable vacation.

Day 1: Splendid Beauty of Kerala Welcomes Us!
Kerala In Summer: 10 Serene And Scintillating Places To Visit In This Heaven
As we adorned the serene surroundings of Kerala, our trip coordinator came to pick us up from the Ernakulam railway station. From there we headed towards Munnar, but we were not able to explore much attractions of the place as that day the state had a strike.
Meanwhile, enroute Munnar we were not able to enjoy the view of the 2 waterfalls as it all dries up in the summer season. But we were lucky enough to witness the surreal beauty of the spice plantation of Kerala in the evening. After that we headed to the Cuckmere resort, which was our home for the first day in Munnar.
Day 2: Local Sightseeing Near Munnar
We missed quite a few things on the first day, thus we were all geared-up to explore this paradise state on the second day after having a finger-licking delicious breakfast. First we visited the Mattupetty dam which was followed by a visit to the tea factory, the photo point and at last we visited the tea plantation.
Later in the day we also went to the local handloom house to witness the traditional Kerala sarees being spun. After this we returned back to our resort to rest and post having lunch we went to the backside to spend some time beside the river which flows behind the resort.
Day 3: Full Day Tour Of Thekkady
35 Best Places To Visit In Thrissur To Make Your Kerala Holiday In 2022 One Of A Kind
On our third day in Kerala, we started our morning with a delicious breakfast after which we started our journey towards Thekkady which was our next destination. Enroute Thekkady we had a blissful encounter with the spice plantations which are lined up at both sides of the road. Upon reaching our destination we checked in to the Hotel Forest Canopy which had cottages lined up amidst the beautiful view.
After freshening up we excitedly looked forward for the upcomings of the day. First we went to have an adventure filled elephant ride around the spice plantation after which we went on a boat ride on the Periyar Lake. Our day ended with a performance by the Kalaripayattu artists which left us spellbound.
Day 4: Exotic Houseboat Stay At Alleppey
We started our drive towards Alleppey on our fourth day in Kerala. We had already made a booking in the Punnamada houseboat to experience an exotic stay on the backwaters of Kerala.
On our arrival, we were joyfully greeted by the friendly crew and the captain of the houseboat. They showed us our room which was well-furnished and clean, exceeding much more to our expectations.
Later in the day we enjoyed a delectable meal while admiring the surreal beauty of the place from the houseboat.
Day 5: Goodbye! Until Next Time
Trekking In Kerala 2022: A Short Guide For Beginners To Have An Ultimate Experience!
On our last day in Kerala we half-heartedly packed our luggage to head towards Bangalore. But before that we visited the Guruvayur temple to take blessings from the almighty before taking departure from this paradise state.
