Kerala Tourism is playing host to its annual folk arts festival in 2022 which is popularly known as the Kerala Utsavam 2022. Brimming with authenticity the festival features various art forms, traditions, vibrant folk charms, and many other attractions. It’s a 7-day long festival and this year it is said to be happening from 20th to 26th February. The Kerala Utsavam 2022 will be organized in various districts of the state, and the natives as well as the tourists relish the colorful art forms presented during all 7 days.

As per the recent updates and reports, the folk festival will be featuring pro artists of their original kind. Ideally, Kerala Utsavam 2022 intends to sustain, promote, and empower the art forms of the state especially the ones lacking publicity and attention. It also aims to offer a platform to the cultural and folk artists particularly to those deserving attention and focus post undergoing the harsh situations of the pandemic and the after-effects of the lockdown. The 13th edition of the festival is nothing but a string of support and hope for the artists hit by the pandemic.
The folk festival will be hosted in 30 different venues across the state. Kerala Utsavam is conducted and hosted exclusively by Kerala Tourism, District Tourism Promotions Councils, Bharat Bhavan, and Kerala Academy.
