“Our honeymoon trip to Kerala was full of romance, nature, and incredible sightseeing. It was rejuvenating, romantic, and everything that we wanted!”
Being a passionate traveler, I had shortlisted three destinations for my honeymoon and these were Andaman, Kerala, and Kashmir. After much research, I finally settled on a Kerala Honeymoon Package since I found it to be more economical, value for money, and experiential than the others.
I booked my romantic Kerala package via TravelTriangle, an online marketplace for travel agents where travelers can get multiple quotes and customized itineraries for their trips. Moreover, I had been following TravelTriangle since almost two years and was a frequent reader of their blogs and travelogues and so was confident that they would deliver well up to my expectations. And I was right.

Our honeymoon had officially begun!
Enroute Munnar, we visited the Wonder Valley where we had a lot of fun doing the adventure activities and it was followed by a spice garden visit which was beautiful. It was here in the Spice Garden that my wife and I could feel the cool tropical charm of Kerala and the feeling of being on a special holiday slowly began to sink in.
Later, we reached our hotel, checked in and then spent the rest of the day resting and chilling at the property itself.

We did a lot of sightseeing in Munnar today and some of the attractions that we really loved include Rose Garden (nearby which we had our lunch), tea garden, photo point, and the Mattupetty Dam where we also enjoyed a thrilling speed boat ride.
Overall, the day was quite enjoyable, the weather too good, and the ambience, simply refreshing!
Day 3: Jungle Safari in Thekkady
We checked out of our hotel in the morning after breakfast and proceeded for Thekkady. We reached around 2 pm, and once again soon checked into our new hotel. After resting for a while, we set out for the best thing to do in Thekkady and it was the Jungle Safari.
This was a great experience and we saw many animals including elephants and deer.
Post this, we returned to our hotel and called it a day.

Day 4: Backwaters in Alleppey and an even better beach experience!
Next up was Alleppey and it took us about some 4-5 hours to reach here. As per the itinerary, we were to stay at the houseboat today and also take a ride in the backwaters. So after checking in, we started our backwaters tour and it was fabulous.
Post the tour, we also visited a beach some 6-7 km away from the backwaters and once again, this was a fantastic experience. We saw a mesmerizing sunset here, the beauty of which, is still etched in our hearts.
Later, we returned to our houseboat and called it a night.
Day 5: Goodbye Kerala
This was our last day and in the morning post breakfast, we checked out of the houseboat and proceeded towards Cochin for our flight back. En route, we saw a famous church, beaches, and the usual points of interest, and frankly, it was a perfect farewell.
